The Film Project Syllabus, “Discover the World of Film,” offers an engaging and interactive journey into the fascinating world of filmmaking. This program takes students on an exploration of the art of acting, screenwriting, directing, set design, and more. Over 38 weeks, they are immersed in the various aspects of the film industry and given the opportunity to express their creativity through the production and performance of their own film.

Purpose and Goals of the Program

The primary goal of this program is to guide students in exploring the film industry. Through practical assignments, interactive workshops, and inspiring activities, students are encouraged to discover and develop their passion for film. Each week is carefully planned to address a specific aspect of filmmaking, with a strong focus on collaboration, creativity, and perseverance.

Through this program, students will not only enhance their artistic skills but also learn valuable life lessons about teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. By the end of this project, they will reflect on their own creation and possess the skills needed to further develop within the world of film and entertainment.


Structure and Content of the Syllabus

The syllabus spans 38 weeks, with 5 lessons per week, each lasting 50 minutes. We begin with the Ubuntu philosophy, where the student’s identity is central. The textbook “Ubuntukids: Learn About Love, Collaboration, and Caring for Each Other” serves as a foundation.
